Back in Cape Town- again?

Hey guys, long time no update. I am actually sick in bed right now – not in my own bed though, because I am back in Cape Town since Friday. Cape Town again? Yes, indeed. Last time I was here in January with my mom and my sister for two weeks it was actually more of family holiday and an opportunity for us to check out some Air BnBs for our stay now, which we had planned to be at least two months long.

What? How come you are staying there for so long? How can you afford that? I get that question on my Instagram quite a lot and to be perfectly honest with you, there is no big magic behind it. Julia and I had decided that we wanted to travel as much as possible this year, and as we fell in love with Cape Town last year, we were both sure that we wanted to stay here a little longer this year. Previously we have worked in Germany and saved up a bit upfront and everything here in Cape Town is pretty cheap (except for accommodation) so that we actually save some money by not spending as much on eating out, groceries etc.

Furthermore, I got a Modelling Agency here, which means that I will be going to a lot of Castings and hopefully get some cool test shoots and jobs. I have actually really started enjoying going to Castings, because they teach you so much. As most of the Castings are commercials you have to be able to act a scene in front of the camera without ever having heard about or practised it before. I love how that kicks me out of my comfort zone and how I feel a little more confident after each Casting.

Here are the some pictures from our trip to Cape Town in January that I have not yet shared with you. I hope you enjoy them! Sending you lots of sun (which I am not enjoying right now, because I am sick) and love from Cape Town!
