Hey guys and welcome back to my new Blog. I am beyond excited to share with you the new design of joliejanine! I have been wanting to change up the blog for a long time and now it has finally gotten a well deserved makeover. Apart from a totally new blog design, I also have a winter outfit for you. With all the travel posts lately am really excited to share this cozy look with you.
Coming back from Bali and the Seychelles the cold temperatures here in Munich were quite a shock. No only did I have to get used to the fact that the sun already sets at 4:30 in the afternoon, I also had to totally rethink what I could wear.
I had to say good bye to denim shorts and tank tops and hello to thick scarfs and cozy coats. Even though I find it so much easier to create a nice look, when you don’t have to calculate in the cold temperatures outside, winter still has its perks fashion wise.
The perfect winter outfit – stylish & warm
Layers, coats, scarfs, hats & cool boots. Winter is the season for your styling to get more complex, and for you to move past the simple T-shirt and jeans combo.
I like to experiment to create an outfit that looks stylish, but is comfortable and warm at the same time. This look is one of them.
The turtleneck knit pullover keeps you so incredibly warm (tip: wear a thermo long-sleeved shirt underneath for optimal coziness) that this stylish faux leather vest (hello acne look alike) is enough to wear over. Despite the fact that a skirt is probably not your number one pick during the cold season, a pair of over knee boats is my secret tip to making skirts and dresses wearable when it is freezing outside. If you are still feeling a little cold you could even wear some thick socks under the boots.
So guys enough of me. I am beyond curious for your opinion!! How do you like this outfit? And most importantly- what do you think about my new blog design?
I would be so happy to hear your feedback!!
