During our time in Mauritius, we spent 3 nights at the Radisson Blu Azuri Resort & Spa hotel. This resort is located in the northeast of the island is a good starting point to explore the island. Here is my review of the Radisson Blu Azuri, including everything you need to know about the resort.
Transport to and from the resort
We contacted the Radisson Blu Azuri before arrival so that they were able to arrange a pickup and drive us to the resort. Whether you need a pick up from or a transport to the airport the staff will help you arrange it. If you are looking to explore Mauritius (which I can highly recommend) you can either book a driver for the day or rent your own car, both can be organized at the hotel reception.
Rooms
During our time at the Radisson Blu Azuri we stayed in a deluxe prestige room. It felt very much like a beach cottage since it was located right by the ocean and had its own little plunge pool.
Food
Good food on vacation is a must for me. When you go on holiday you shouldn’t have to sacrifice fresh, tasty and healthy food. Fortunately, the Radisson Blu Azuri did not disappoint. We booked half board, which means we had breakfast and dinner at the Le Comptoir restaurant.
Breakfast
At breakfast, they had everything that you could desire in the morning: fresh fruit, cereal, eggs, croissants and even some warm Indian dishes. It was also easy for me as a vegan to find something to eat, since they offered soya milk, rice milk, dried fruits and lots of other foods that were plant-based.
Dinner
The buffet dinner changed every night, matching the night’s food theme. The different options made sure that you didn’t get tired of the dinner buffet after a few days. Just like at breakfast, there was a wide range of dishes to choose from: Indian veggie dishes, pasta, Mediterranean food, a big salad bar or grilled veggies (just to mention a few vegan options).
Ocean one beach club & restaurant
For lunch, we usually went to the Ocean one beach club & restaurant, which (as the name suggests) is located right by the beach. The atmosphere there is beautiful and the food very tasty. I had the spicy penne arrabiata and a grilled vegetable salad, which were both delicious.
Lots of healthy breakfast options

Activites
Whether you are looking to relax or to take part in activities during your stay at the Radisson Blu Azuri- the choice is yours. Each day there is an extensive program offering lots of sporty, social and creative activities, such as yoga, cardio workouts or movie nights.
Spa & Gym
I tested out both, the gym and the spa at the hotel. The gym is equipped with modern machines and has some great workout equipment, such as ankle weights or resistance bands. At the spa, I got to indulge in a one-hour oil massage, which was super relaxing! The spa facilities are beautiful and the atmosphere is incredibly relaxing.
The Blu passport
Guests have also access to activities and restaurants (with credit) at the adults-only sister hotel Radisson Blu Poste Lafayette Resort & Spa with the Blu Passport. Some of the activities at the Radisson Blu Poste Lafayette Resort & Spa include: beach yoga, snorkelling or bicycle rides.
Service
Something that definitely stood out at the Radisson Blu Azuri resort & spa hotel was the amazing service. Everyone, starting from the room cleaners to the waiters at the restaurant over to the reception staff was very helpful and friendly. They remembered your face and they were of assistance whenever you needed something.
I know there are not really any negative point in this review, which is simply because I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the resort. The room, the food, the staff and everything else was just how it should be. Everything was hassle free and provided a relaxing holiday environment. If you are in Mauritius and looking for a place to stay, I can happily recommend the Radisson Blu Azuri to you.

-as always this is my honest opinion
