Valentine’s Day

Hola Amigos! Hope you are doing well! Unless you are living under a rock you probably already know that it was Valentine’s Day today. It’s quite crazy how much fuss is made about this day. All those companies that are trying to sell their products to you, just so that you can prove your love for someone. Don’t get me wrong- it’s not that I don’t like Valentine’s day, I just don’t take it very seriously (which could be due to the fact that I am single??) Anyway here are some picture of what I did on V-Day here in Cape Town:

Buying myself flowers

I actually bought these roses for an Instagram picture. Sounds sad, but turned out to be a pretty good idea. They look so nice in our Air BnB here in Cape Town- it think I will have to buy flowers more often.

Beach Time

After I did a little outfit shoot in the city in the morning, Julia and I drove to Landudno Beach in the afternoon. It is such a cool beach and there are lots of surfers there. Since we went out partying yesterday night, tanning and realxing was actually the perfect hangover activity.

The drive to Llandudno and back was also really really nice, as you get the most breathtaking view over the coast and Lion’s Head (see picture). Cape Town is such an incredibly beautiful place!!

Romantic dinner 😉

What would Valentine’s day be without a romantic dinner? I had mine with my sister Julia at a Vietnamese Restaurant. We both shared some mushroom dumplings as a starter and for a main course we had an amazing potato and vegetable curry. It was sooo good and now I am really happy and satisified.

I hope you all had a nice day with your loved ones, whether it was your boyfriend/girlfriend, family or friends! We should let them know every day how much we love them and not just on Valentines.

Sending you all lots of love!

LG Pauline <3
